Two years ago today, British Columbians elected a renewed BC Liberal team to strengthen our diverse economy, to create jobs and opportunity, and to control government spending.

In the past two years, we have never lost sight of that. What gets us up every morning is the drive to make BC work better for you.

  • On May 14th, we celebrated the two year anniversary of our 2013 election win, marking the half way point in our mandate.

To mark the occasion, Premier Christy Clark hosted her very first Google+ Hangout, and spent the evening taking live questions from our most dedicated members from across the province.

  • On June 2nd, 2015, Premier Christy Clark addressed a crowd of 1300+ supporters at our most successful Vancouver Leader’s Dinner to date.

  • Over the past four months, government continued to chart a course that will guide British Columbia to success. Focusing on the things that matter most to British Columbians – a strong economy, controlled government spending, low taxes, smart investments, and helping those in need  – government has focused on building a better B.C. for all of us.

  • When it comes to education, the goal of our BC Liberal team is simple: to create the best learning environment for our kids, so they can build the future of our province. This was recognized by B.C’s highest court, which issued a clear decision affirming your government’s approach to public education.

This ruling, together with our historic, negotiated six-year agreement with teachers, offers an opportunity to put aside past disputes and work together to build the best education system in the world.

  • A year ago, government launched the B.C. Skills for Jobs Blueprint, government’s plan to help British Columbians find their fit in the province’s diverse, strong and growing economy.

A year later, the plan is working, with nearly 50,000 British Columbians in 31 communities participating in Find Your Fit, a youth-focused interactive event showcasing in-demand careers.
